LASRAB Launches Governor’s Milestone Quiz — Celebrating Knowledge and Lagos Heritage

In a bold step to promote intellectual excellence and civic awareness among Lagos students, the Lagos State Records and Archives Bureau (LASRAB), in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Strategy, has launched an exciting new initiative — the Governor’s Milestone Quiz Competition.

The online competition, set to begin on November 1, 2025, promises to ignite curiosity and reward knowledge as students engage in a four-week test of wit and understanding of Lagos State’s rich history, progress, and governance.

Designed to broaden participants’ knowledge of the achievements of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, the quiz also aims to deepen students’ appreciation of Lagos’ cultural heritage, historical evolution, and developmental strides across its five divisions — Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, and Epe.

According to LASRAB, the competition embodies the spirit of “learning through discovery”, merging education with entertainment to nurture informed, confident, and socially responsible young citizens.
