NATEF 2025: Dr. Jimmy Akinduro Commends ITF, Urges Knowledge Sharing

Dr. Jimmy Akinduro, a lecturer at London South Bank University and a Chartered Engineer, has identified with the Nigerian Artisans and Technicians Exhibitions and Fair o (NATEF) during its second edition in Abuja.

Speaking at the dinner and award night, Dr. Akinduro appreciated the organizers, noting that the workshop was not a small gathering but an impactful one. He encouraged participants to value their craftsmanship and share the knowledge gained with others.

“The knowledge you get here should be imparted to others. This gathering is not small,” he remarked, while expressing gratitude to the National Coordinator of ASNAT, who was once his student.

Beyond academia, Dr. Akinduro has been a notable influencer in Nigeria’s educational system. During the military regime of General Sani Abacha, he played a pioneering role in the introduction of the Junior Secondary School and Senior Secondary School structure, a policy that has shaped the nation’s educational framework to date.

His presence at the ASNAT workshop was described as both inspiring and symbolic, bridging education, technical artistry, and mentorship for the next generation of Nigerian creatives.
