Osun Police Seek Public Help to Identify Man Found Wandering in Modakeke

The Osun State Police Command has appealed to members of the public to assist in identifying a man found wandering around the Adelola area of Modakeke.

In a statement issued on Monday, October 6, 2025, the Command’s spokesperson, Abiodun Ojelabi, said the man was discovered on October 3, 2025, and has since been in police care.

“The male person shown on the screen was found at Adelola Area, Modakeke, Osun State, on October 3, 2025,” Ojelabi stated.

According to the police, the man is dumbdark in complexion, about 3.4 feet tall, with no tribal marks and an oval-shaped face. He was reportedly dressed in campala attire when found.

Ojelabi urged anyone who recognizes the individual or has information about his relatives to contact the Divisional Police Headquarters, Modakeke Division, or the Family Unit at Oke-Fia, Osun State.

He added that the appeal is part of the police’s ongoing efforts to reunite the man with his family.
